ある日の心覚え

賢人たちは、別に、生まれつき賢かったわけではない。
彼らの多くは、たびたび内省しては修正すべき点を改善していく、
というシンプルな過程を長年繰り返した結果、
多くを学び、成長してきたのだ。

「これが自分」などと、自分に執着し、
人から嫌われたり、避けられることを性懲りもなく続けて、
気がついたら孤立し誰からも尊重されなくなっていていた、
などになる前に、
「これも自分」と自分の器量幅を広げ、
素直に自分の悪いところを修正していく…
そんなことが、これからよりよく幸せに生きていくために、
大切なのではないか
